Most of the year, Farm Talk focuses on the most enduring farm and ranch operations in the Four States. On April 16, 2023, our publication is flipping the script to honor young farmers, ranchers and ag business professionals embodying the next generation of agriculture.
Farm Talk’s 40 Under 40 Special Issue will highlight 40 Four State area agriculturalists improving farming, ranching and ag business. Applicants can be individuals or couples involved in any aspect of agriculture. The form is a brief questionnaire and can be filled out by the applicant themselves or on their behalf by a friend, family member or neighbor.
“We want to highlight the next generation of agriculture, especially those that wouldn’t typically be in the limelight,” said Farm Talk editor Raney Rapp. “If you know of someone who embodies the promise of a new generation of agriculture, please fill out a form on their behalf.”
Applications will be reviewed by Farm Talk staff and selected applicants will be contacted and featured in the April 16 special issue. Applications are due February 25, 2022.
“We’re looking forward to showcasing young people making a difference in rural communities,” Rapp said. “Help us find and focus on the brightest indiviuals and families in Four State ag.”
