Active in Kansas Farm Bureau and Kansas Soybean Association, as well as local 4-H, the McVey family is dedicated to improving their farmland and their community through conscious management and local leadership.

Zack’s farm is a 6th generation row crop operation producing sorghum, corn, wheat, and soybeans.
Zack is president of the Ottawa County Oklahoma Farmers Union Local 67, a member of the Otawa County Fairboard, and a founding member of the NEO A&M College’s Crop Research Farm. He is also a member of NEO’s Crop Research Committee.

Adam operates a small cow-calf operation in addition to working as an assistant professor in animal science at the Darr College of Agriculture, Missouri State University in Springfield.
Adam serves his community in leadership roles on boards for the Southwest Missouri Cattlemen's Association and Lawrence County Farm Bureau. He is the Angus breed superintendent at the Ozark Empire Fair in Springfield and advises the Block and Bridle club at Missouri State University.

For the past six years, Brad has strived to ensure his 70 acres provide housing for Kansas wildlife through partnerships with local organizations to keep the land sustainable and clean. He engages with customers on a daily basis on technological needs and travels across the nation to connect with farmers, technicians and business owners.

Greg serves as Vice President and part owner of Roberds Farms, a family-owned cash grain farm producing wheat, corn and soybeans.
With an emphasis on the technology side of farming, Greg has greatly improved the efficiency and productivity of planting and spraying since he started working full-time in 2001. At Greg’s direction, Roberds Farms has expanded to no-till double-crop soybeans with a no-till drill and he implemented bulk storage for liquid nitrogen and diesel on the farm.

Caitlyn educates the next generation of agriculturalists as an FFA instructor at Chanute High School.
Under her leadership since 2018, she has tripled the participation from a single classroom to a full building complete with a greenhouse and plans for a hydroponic growing unit for the school. Her community involvement created awareness about ag and small business support for local youth.
Her charity work in the classroom helped rebuild fences in Western Kansas after devastating fires and she has put on ag-related programs for elementary-aged youth. Personally, she volunteers her time with Neosho County Farm Bureau and the Neosho County Fair Board alongside helping her husband with the family business, Lahaye Bucking Bulls.

Shannon is an Agronomist with MFA covering Eastern Kansas and Western Missouri. He is a Certified Crop Advisor recognized by the American Society of Agronomy. Shannon has played the role of agronomy advisor for many farmers in the four states area since moving to Kansas in 2015.

Harris Farms is headquartered in Hepler, Kansas, and covers a little over 5,000 acres in Bourbon and Crawford counties. Fourth-generation farmer Wyatt Harris has been improving the ground on every field since he started farming in 2007.
Wyatt is local contributor to the Hepler Community. He is a big supporter of the Hepler 4th of July Rodeo as well as other events in the Hepler Community. He also supports local FFA and 4H exhibitors at the Crawford and Bourbon County Fairs. Wyatt is also a member of the Farm Bureau.
